Harmony Hill was the perfect spot for Katie and Travis to have their engagement photos in the fall foliage. We waited with anticipation that the rain would move out and then hold off and it did! We were so excited! Look how completely adorable they are together with their handsome four-legged boys. Dex is a K-9 tracking dog with Travis at the Belfast PD and is very, very fixated on his partner and trainer. Hunter is Katie’s boy, an old man with a mind of his own! Together they are completely different but still buds.
Katie and Doug’s perfect wedding day began with clear skies as the girls got ready at Black Bear Inn in Orono. Some of my favorite parts of the wedding day include when I first arrive and see the bride getting ready. Katie looked so beautiful, glowing even! We headed over to University Inn just a few miles away to get her into her dress and see her Father walk her down the long flower-lined walkway to the gazebo along the Stillwater river. It was the perfect spot. With a little bit of party music and dancing to wear off the nerves Katie was more than ready to see her handsome groom and start their lives together.
Vanessa and Phil chose a late summer wedding at the beautiful Blueberry Fields Bed and Breakfast in the quaint town of Washington Maine. What a perfect day despite a little rain to start off what will be the most memorable day so far in their lives. Vanessa’s smile is infectious especially when she looks at Phil and I caught the emotion that Phil was feeling for his bride as they stood side by side under the tent about to say “I Do” twice!!! I think they were a little anxious to become husband and wife to say the least.
No wind nor rain or hurricane would have stopped this wedding day from happening! This sweet couple and I had braved their engagement session last winter in the freezing cold so we could handle a little rain. What I appreciate most about them is the quiet yet unrestrained love they have for each other. Together they are just adorable!
Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport, Maine was the perfect spot for Abby and Ethan’s fun engagement session. Meeting this darling pair of love birds at the top of the 296 acre preserve made me breathless! Maybe it was my age or maybe it was how adorable they were together! Exploring nature and breathing deep into your lungs is always satisfying and just look at those pretty flowers still in the garden and little creatures that get to enjoy them every day.
