Hillside Wedding Morrill Maine | Brittany and Colt

What a whirlwind! When Brittany and Colt contacted me just a few short months ago, I was so excited to hear of all their wonderful wedding plans. I knew this wedding would be absolutely gorgeous and it did not disappoint right down to the open blue skies. The new Mr. & Mrs. said their “I Do’s” on the hillside of Brittany’s childhood home where she played on the grass of the very same hill for so many years. I can only imagine how nostalgic it was for her and her entire family to see her on that very hill becoming Mrs.Colt Benner.

Stonecrest Barn Waldo Maine | LeeAnn and Eric

One thing I have noticed about this adorable coupleis that Eric and LeeAnn, especially LeeAnn, is that she is a no-stress or at least low-stress person. What is also evident in this couple is the fun kind of love that a lifetime together is built on. Eric and LeeAnn went to prom 8 years ago almost to the day at Stonecrest in Waldo. The very place where they pledged their love and commitment to each other forever.

For Katie and Doug it was recognizing how much they had in common that initially attracted them to each other. Katie saw a handsome romantic and Doug saw a beautiful independent woman.

Heather and Alex | Mid Coast Maine Engagement

I first met this sweet couple at my Christmas Mini session last year. They came with their beautiful boys, Bruin and Daniel. Both boys are so charming and sweet. Heather told me that day that she knew that Alex was going to propose because he let the cat out of the bag while he was sleeping!

How magical was to watch their day unfold at the Castle that overlooks the Penobscot Bay. So many sweet smiles and glimpses into their beautiful family and the love the bride and groom have for each other.

“So, you come here often?” Brittany asked Colt as they slow danced at his brother’s wedding. They were both in his brother’s wedding as Brittany was good friends with the bride. Colt and Brittany noticed each other immediately at the rehearsal the night before. At the wedding, they were taking the wedding party photos and Brittany slipped on some rocks and fell backwards and landed right on Colt! He caught her that day and all the days after!
