Wedding at Harmony Hill Farm Warren Maine | Katie and Travis

Katie and Travis had the wedding of their dreams at the picturesque Harmony Hill Farm Wedding Venue in Warren Maine.  Their day was everything I knew it would be.  So very full of love, grace and of coarse tears.  Tears of anticipation, tears of love and and of joy, so much joy.  Even Travis shed a few and as always I literally cried at the Mother and Son dance. AGAIN!

The day was full of getting ready at the beautiful Samoset Resort on the coast of Maine for the Bride Tribe and what a supportive tribe Katie has.  Hair and Make-up done by the very talented ladies at Among Friends Salon.  Her dress from The Henry’s Bridal had a train that was so full and gorgeous and fit her perfectly.   As the guys assisted Travis, I couldn’t help but notice how genuinely happy they were for him and how they treated him like a brother.

 As we headed out for their first look, Katie became so overwhelmed at the thought of seeing Travis that she had to retrieve her tissue she tucked away in her dress special for “just in case”.  In her “just in case” moment I was so busy organizing how the first look was going to go that I almost missed one of the most tender moments she had with her girls.  A moment of “this is it”.  The very moment that her mind had dreamed about for many nights leading up to that very minute, second.  Her hidden tissue also made its appearance onto Travis’ cheeks, putting the flowers on her mom’s wrist and her Maid of Honor’s speech. I love those sweet, tender moments.

What a bright, gorgeous day to marry your best friend.  Your classmate that you “noticed” later after graduation but the one that for sure Travis could not stop thinking about after seeing her out one night.  The rest is certainly history and now a new chapter has begun.  

Travis’ best man had so much to say, much of it very entertaining and also made Travis cry but in a different way for sure.  The one thing the groom is well known for is his dance moves and more importantly, the shirt off his back that he would give anyone who needed it and how he found the love of his life.  And to make sure to start them off for the future the best man even made sure to give them some cute baby Crocs, basketball shorts and tank top.  Maybe a little bit of a push but not to start any rumors! 

Anyone there could clearly see the love they have for each other and their sweet families.  The food was great, cake was beautiful along with those yummy cupcakes and can you even get over the bouquets…ah. So pretty!

Katie and Travis, you are an amazing couple with so much ahead of you and I know whatever comes your way, you will embrace it and live to the fullest hand in hand.  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Travis Spencer.  Thank you for allowing me into your lives and celebrating with you!
