Summer Engagement Beech Hill Preserve Maine | Abby and Ethan
Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport, Maine was the perfect spot for Abby and Ethan’s fun engagement session. Meeting this darling pair of love birds at the top of the 296 acre preserve made me breathless! Maybe it was my age or maybe it was how adorable they were together! Exploring nature and breathing deep into your lungs is always satisfying and just look at those pretty flowers still in the garden and little creatures that get to enjoy them every day.
We have been planning their engagement session for weeks now and picked the perfect spot on a slightly cloudy day; my personal favorite. Abby and Ethan met through modern social media and had their first date at Rock City cafe. From there, they walked and talked for hours really getting to know each other and the rest is history!
Ethan chose to use his mother’s diamond from a necklace of his mothers. This was very sentimental because his father had given this necklace to his her. With their families blessing and a “what’s taken you so long” dialogue he went off to seek her hand in marriage!
Yes, you guessed it, she said yes and here they are planning a beautiful late summer wedding in August of 2020. They have chosen a lush green field in Warren that belongs to their uncle near Beth’s Farm. I was excited to hear all the details and is shaping up to be a lot of fun on the big day!
This couple could not be sweeter together and add their adorable six month old Labradoodle, Nutmeg and you just can’t stop smiling! Nutmeg was so cute and attentive, if you had turkey and sometimes not!!! She was carried up the hill by her grandmother and carried down by her Mom and Dad!! Not a bad scenario for her! I particularly enjoyed the going down part.
I have no doubt that this bride and groom-to-be will spend the rest of their lives happy and full of life! I am looking forward to your lovely wedding day next year that will be here before you know it!
