EThe most amazing sky is always after the storm and that is what happened for Janell and Nick at Fort Point State Park Lighthouse in Stockton Springs, Maine. They have planned and planned again for their amazing Summer wedding. Should I do a “First Look” on my wedding day?
After photographing dozens and dozens of weddings I have seen more reasons than not to have a “First Look” before the ceremony. I will give you reasons for both for you to decide.
What is a “First Look” you ask?
The “First Look” is when the Bride and Groom have a few private moments before the ceremony to see each other for the first time.
Fall has to be the most beautiful look at Norumbega Inn at Camden Maine. Brittany and Evan are such sweet souls and you could see the love between them from miles away. I was captured by the sweetness of their vows and how they both teared up and laughed at each other. Their family rallied around them and helped them have the wedding of their dreams.
Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury, Connecticut was the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous late fall wedding for Sierra and Jeff. My sweet niece (in love) was the picture of beauty and grace the entire day even after the roller-coaster ride of re-planning her wedding just a few times.
A spectacular wedding of Hannah Ruth Hopkins to Andrew James Pierce at Stonecrest in Waldo, Maine is one that I will never forget as Andrew is my oldest and only son. He married the love of his life; a love that this mom always knew he would find one day but seemed to come slowly.
Katie and Travis had the wedding of their dreams at the picturesque Harmony Hill Farm Wedding Venue in Warren Maine. Their day was everything I knew it would be. So very full of love, grace and of coarse tears. Tears of anticipation, tears of love and and of joy, so much joy. Even Travis shed a few and as always I literally cried at the Mother and Son dance. AGAIN!
