Wright’s Mill Farm Wedding in Canterbury Connecticut | Sierra and Jeff
Wright’s Mill Farm in Canterbury, Connecticut was the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous late fall wedding for Sierra and Jeff. My sweet niece (in love) was the picture of beauty and grace the entire day even after the roller-coaster ride of re-planning her wedding just a few times.
The day was warm and very sunny but what struck me the most was the love that surrounded the couple from their closest friends and family. When everything had to be changed and the date moved up five days, they were right there with them making it happen along with the wedding venue.
One of the sweetest moments I witnessed was when Jeff saw Sierra walking down the long path along the rock walls. All I can say is his mind was blown by the expression on his face; he was really taken aback. Happy tears and the promise to choose each other even when it is hard and to love. Love. Forever.
So many moments of happy tears and as always I cried along with her mom whenever she cried just thinking about her baby girl leaving the nest and becoming a wife. Jeff’s mom got me again when they had their first dance with tears streaming down her cheeks. I should have known it when she brought her dinner napkin with her right of the bat!
What a charming venue and so many gorgeous spots along the way; I wish I had all day to photograph them there in that country setting. Sierra was so excited to find out that the rebuilt barn would be ready for her wedding and could not wait to go to the old barn near the pond. That was a great idea! Such a great idea!
Congratulations to the most adorable couple! I know you have nothing but years full of love, laughter and you will dedicate yourselves to each other with God’s grace in the middle of it all. I love you both with all my heart and “guts”! So excited to introduce the new Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Grigos!
