There are wedding days that are beautiful, and then there are wedding days that feel like a true reflection of the couple at the center of them. Alexis and Joe’s celebration at the Coastal Newagen Inn was exactly that. Getting married on their five-year dating anniversary made the day even more meaningful—a beautiful milestone marking where their story began and the beginning of their next chapter together. From the very start, there was an incredible sense of anticipation and excitement. The guys kicked off the day getting ready in the bowling alley, while the girls gathered in a charming little cottage overlooking the ocean. With the coastal breeze, the beautiful surroundings, and their closest friends and family nearby, the stage was set for an unforgettable celebration.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Alexis and Joe’s first look on the rocks. With the ocean stretching out behind them, they had a quiet moment together before the excitement of the day unfolded. The emotion on their faces said everything. Their ceremony followed on the dock lawn, surrounded by the natural beauty of the coast. There were tender glances, genuine laughter, and more than a few happy tears as they exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife. Every moment felt incredibly personal and heartfelt, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for their story. The incredible floral arrangements added another layer of beauty, complementing the coastal surroundings perfectly.

After the ceremony, Alexis and Joe joined their guests for cocktail hour, soaking in those first moments as newlyweds while celebrating with the people who had come to share their day. Everyone then gathered in the ballroom for a beautiful full-course dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, but one of the evening’s surprises came from Lexi’s dad during his heartfelt speech. He told everyone he had a “little announcement,” which naturally had the room wondering what was coming next. His announcement? Everyone was expected to get on the dance floor! And they took that request very seriously. Once the live band started playing, the dance floor came alive. Friends and family danced, laughed, and celebrated well into the evening, creating the kind of energetic, joyful photographs that bring you right back to the feeling of the night.

Looking back on Alexis and Joe’s wedding day, it truly had everything—a breathtaking coastal setting, incredible flowers, delicious food, heartfelt speeches, happy tears, laughter, and a dance floor that never seemed to stop. But more than anything, it was the love between these two and the people surrounding them that made the day so special.
