Maine Winter Engagement | Tabby and Sam

I had the pleasure of meeting this very sweet couple during their engagement session after another beautiful snowfall in Maine. We literally broke ground together and it was hilarious! I did not realize how deep the snow was still, sorry guys! They were troopers and even had some fun dancing in the snow.

Tabby and Sam met through mutual friends and “hung out” for six months before the otherwise, not-so-shy, Sam got up the courage and asked her on a date that led them to Darby’s in Belfast. Their love story proceeded when last Fall, Sam had a work trip and what better way to propose than in breath-taking Alaska. He secretly planned it all out. Packing the one item that mattered most in his luggage, the ring, that had to be searched when he went through security. Phew! Thankfully Tabby flew in a few days later. On one of the last days there he decided that a hike up the mountain was in order to ask the question of a lifetime. Tabby had other plans that didn’t involve hiking and getting all sweaty though but with some coaxing they proceeded on. He setup a tripod to take photos of them with that gorgeous backdrop and went for it! Needless to say they are now planning a beautiful June wedding and have photos of them at the top of that stunning mountain!

You did a great job, Sam. That ring and the element of surprise. Nailed it! Congratulations to you both and I cannot wait to capture your special day so you can relive it anytime you want even 50 years from now.
