There was no other place on this planet for Kaela and Avery to get married than on Long Cove in Chamberlain, Maine, where she spent her summers with her siblings at the beach. Then a short drive up the road to The Contented Sole restaurant along Pemaquid they ate, drank and were so very merry!
They planned so much fun for the day’s festivities and it was smooth sailing the whole entire day. Her flowers from Eastern River Farm were so bright and beautiful. Every detail was simply amazing.
Getting ready at her grandparents’ home on the rocks of the harbor was so very sweet and they waited there to see her in her dress. My heart could hardly take it all in. One of the girls mentioned how they remembered them in their little bathing suits climbing on all the rocks and swimming as little girls. The scene was certainly set on their beautiful day.
During their first look, the happy couple exchanged their own vows privately and shed a few joyous tears sharing just how much they mean to one another. It was a happy, tearful moment, one I will not soon forget. What a backdrop we had.
The couple’s wedding party and family were very fun and supportive. Calm and collected. That is so important for the couple to feel loved and supported on their special day. I thought the most fun parts were when her aunt gave her rendition of Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat at the altar. Then an upbeat catchy tune sung by Eden and their cousin all about the bride and groom’s relationship generated much laughter. My most favorite thing at the ceremony was when her grandfather spoke, and Kaela blew him a kiss!
The Contented Sole on Pemaquid in New Harbor, Maine was bustling with guests talking and laughing on the gorgeous deck. Every detail was so perfectly planned out and the FOOD! Let’s just say, Perfection! No clinking of glasses at this wedding! No, you had to come up and sing a line or two or three of a song in order to have them “kiss Passionately”! That was the best!
At the end of the night, I stepped out onto the deck to see the full, orange moon shining so bright just for the sweet couple to see. It was indeed a magical day! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Fried. I wish you much happiness, love and laughter together as a married, again, couple!
