Summer Farm Wedding in Brooks Maine | Kathryn and Cam

Kathryn and Cam planned their beautiful wedding day on her family farm, surrounded by fields, nature and their loved ones. They spent months planning every detail, from the tent that would shelter them from the beautiful summer sun, to the organic flowers that Bella Donna grew in the fields and foraged locally. They wanted their wedding to reflect their values and their love for each other.

On the big day, they were greeted by a clear blue sky and a warm, gentle breeze. As Kathryn walked down the aisle, on her dad’s arm, she moved toward the man that had loved her so well since the day they met. They exchanged their vows under a wooden arch decorated with wildflowers and greenery. Her brother, Andrew, married them and shared stories of love and devotion and the bride’s broken arm that brought  them together!

They had a large wedding party, which consisted of some of the best friends and family they could ask for. They were super supportive and helped them with everything, from setting up the tables and chairs, to even creating a drawing of their sweet rescue pup, Kona, on their napkins! They toasted to the happy couple, sharing stories and jokes that made everyone laugh and cry.  Hearing of the love and friendship they have in all those that attended testifies to the kind and caring people they are.  It really touched my heart.

They enjoyed the delicious food, made by her family’s food truck, Cal’s Catering. SO DELICIOUS! Chaps Bar service had drinks that were affectionately created and named for some of their friends. Adorable!

Kathryn tossed the bouquet, causing a friendly scramble among the single ladies, though I did see some basketball rebound positions going on. Kathryn and Cam danced the night away on the dance floor and in chairs.  That was fun!

They ended the night with a bonfire and surprised their guests with fireworks, compliments of their cousin.  Pretty impressive.  At the end of the day, they knew they had just experienced the best day of their lives.  Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Radtke.  Best wishes for your new forever.
